About Us

For Andrew and Erika, great travel has always been personal. With almost 70 years of experience between them and extensive first-hand knowledge of destinations around the world, they combine professional expertise with the kind of attentive service that only comes from genuinely knowing their clients.

Since making Felixstowe their home in 2009, Andrew and Erika have built a business founded on trust, sound advice and lasting relationships. Their clients value honest recommendations, careful planning and support before, during and after every trip. Whether the brief is straightforward or highly individual, their approach is the same: listen properly, take care of the detail and create a holiday that feels right for the people taking it.

That personal approach has earned Andrew national recognition, including nominations for Homeworker of the Year and UK Travel Agent of the Year in 2019. More importantly, it has earned the loyalty of clients who return time and again, recommend the business to friends and know they can rely on knowledgeable, resourceful and imaginative service without unnecessary fuss.

Andrew’s roots in Felixstowe extend well beyond travel. He served as Chairman of the Felixstowe Chamber of Trade and Commerce from 2010 to 2013 and as President of the Rotary Club of Felixstowe in 2022–2023. These roles reflect a long-standing commitment to the town, its businesses and the people who make the community what it is.

As Chairman of the chamber, Andrew was involved in Felixstowe ‘Great Days by the Sea’ conception, the ‘Shared Space’ project and the Seafront Gardens restoration. Whilst one of Andrew’s most important local contributions through Rotary, is the Club’s Youth Development Programme, which he established in 2018 and continues to lead. Its purpose is simple but powerful: to give young people, particularly those who might not otherwise have the opportunity, new experiences that build confidence, independence and practical skills.

Under Andrew’s leadership, the programme has opened doors across sport, outdoor adventure, the arts and hospitality. Local pupils have taken part in the Community Cup football tournament, tackled climbing challenges at Clip ’n Climb, learned the basics of sailing and windsurfing at Alton Water, trained with West End performers and experienced life in a professional kitchen through Kids Kitchen at The Alex Brasserie. The programme has also supported activity breaks for young carers and, on occasion, helped talented young athletes pursue their potential.

Travel expertise, civic leadership and hands-on community work have made Andrew a familiar and trusted presence in Felixstowe. Yet the values behind it all remain refreshingly straightforward: be approachable, do what you say you will do and use experience and local connections to make a positive difference.

Andrew and Erika are proud to call Felixstowe home and grateful to the clients, colleagues, volunteers and local organisations who have supported them along the way. If you are looking for thoughtful travel advice from people who care about the details and the community they serve, you will be in experienced hands.

My view is that the stronger version is better, but neither version fully capitalises on Andrew’s profile. A high-end website would put much greater emphasis on the fact that he is a long-standing business leader, former Chamber President, former Rotary President, founder of the Rotary Youth Development Programme and a nationally recognised travel professional, positioning him as one of Felixstowe’s most connected and respected local figures rather than simply a travel agent.
